The 13th Japan Festival organised by the Japan Club of Victoria will be held at Box Hill Town Hall and TAFE on Sunday, May 19th 2013. Since its inaugural event in 2000, the Japan Festival has grown steadily in both attendance and entertainment. Wadaiko Rindo will participate in the festivities by performing and dancing on the main stage. Come and join in the sounds, colour and tastes of the day. The festival provides the opportunity to exchange cultural experiences for not only the Japanese community here, but also for the local community. With a rich variety of exhibits and stalls, the event attracts people of all ages and nationalities, and has earned its status as the biggest Japan-related event in Australia.
