Filmed and edited by Mia-Alexandra Sky, using behind the scenes footage from Wadaiko Rindo’s classes, performances and workshops. This clip was created as a memento for students who participated in taiko classes with Wadaiko Rindo this year, and introduced the annual end of year student concerts on 8 – 9 December 2012, in Melbourne, Australia.

Calligrapher Shingo Nozao created the brushstroke logo seen at the start of this video. Featured in this compilation of memories is Okinawa dancer and musician Maki Yonaha, who taught this year’s Eisa dances.

Toshi Sakamoto leads the drumming ensemble with strength, charisma and never ending patience and nurture, as the students enjoy learning taiko, with all the effort and commitment it takes.

Masahiro Yamazaki also features prominently in this video, as he was recognised as the student who performed most times for Wadaiko Rindo this year.
